This vintage flameproof strip light was manufactured by Daeyang, Korea in 1978, originally designed to illuminate hazardous zones aboard supertankers, cargo ships, and military vessels. Built for extreme durability, the fixture features a cast aluminum body, steel and brass fittings, and cylindrical glass lamp housings.
Fully restored and polished, it has been re-wired by Loomlight with CE-approved components and fitted with 2x warm white (2700K–3000K) LED T8 tubes, compatible with 100V–240V electrics. Explosion-proof rated IP55, this industrial pendant lamp is safe for wet zones such as kitchens and bathrooms, while serving as a striking statement piece in homes, bars, restaurants, and loft interiors.
Each light retains its original Daeyang manufacturer’s specification label and comes ready for installation.
